Musa Jungle Retreat is a true gem nestled right at the edge of Manas National Park. The peaceful surroundings and vibrant gardens make for a magical experience, complemented by clean and spacious accommodations. The staff's hospitality is remarkable. However, there are a few minor maintenance issues that could use attention, particularly in the bathrooms, but this didn't significantly detract from our delightful stay.

The Bansbari Villa was spacious and clean, complete with a private patio that offered lovely views of the gardens and trees. However, the bathtub was cracked and could detract from an otherwise perfect experience.

The service was exceptional, with staff always ready to assist. They even provided a dongle for our work needs, which worked well for video calls. The dining service was also thoughtful, accommodating our request for meals at our convenience.

This resort is perfectly positioned right next to Manas National Park, making it easy to access the park and enjoy nature. The room I stayed in was quite spacious and comfortable, though there were a few bugs, and the staff took a while to address my needs. The dining was decent but overpriced for what was offered. Overall, it's an enjoyable stay with the charm of being close to wildlife, but just watch out for the added charges on food.

The Grazing Rhino lodge had a spacious layout with a lovely open verandah, though I did encounter some lizards and insects during my stay.

My stay at the resort near Manas National Park was great overall. The location is excellent, just a short stroll from the park entrance, and the cottages are spacious and well-maintained. However, I found the food to be overly pricey and the service with dining could be improved as the menu discrepancies and missing items were a bit frustrating.

Rooms

The cottages are spacious and have a lovely open verandah covered with a thatch roof, providing a nice view of the surroundings.
Service

The staff were courteous and attentive, but there was a hiccup with the breakfast packing that could have been managed better.

The location is fantastic, being just a stone's throw away from the Manas National Park entrance, offering easy access for safaris and nature walks.
Dining

While the menu featured some local dishes, I felt the overall dining experience was hindered by high pricing and inconsistent service.
Facilities

The resort has good facilities, including a spacious restaurant and opportunities for cultural activities, though there were no extensive amenities.

I had a mixed experience at Musa Retreat. The rooms were spacious and clean, which I appreciated, and the location near the Manas National Park is fantastic. However, the dining experience left much to be desired, and the service felt a bit informal at times. Overall, it offers good value for its location, but improvement in the restaurant and staff training would enhance the stay.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The Grazing Rhino lodge was particularly cozy once we got used to the setup.
Service

The service was friendly, though a bit unpolished. While the staff were willing to help, they could benefit from more training for a more professional service.
Location

The hotel is right on the edge of Manas National Park, making it an excellent spot for wildlife lovers. The setting with tea estates and grasslands adds to its charm.
Dining
5.0
Dining was quite basic; the restaurant had potential, but the food was simple and the ambiance lacked a cozy feel. Breakfast options were very limited.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were adequate but not luxurious. The common areas could use some enhancement to create a more inviting atmosphere.

I had a memorable stay with a fantastic experience overall. The resort offers a wonderful ambiance near the park, friendly and courteous staff, and delicious food. However, the kids' play area needs some attention, and the room pricing felt a bit high for the included amenities. Overall, it was a great getaway, and I would absolutely return.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay. However, given the price, I expected more comprehensive meal options included.

The service was excellent, especially from the restaurant staff who were exceptionally helpful. Jeep safari arrangements were also seamless.
Location

The location is perfect, right next to the entrance of Manas National Park, making it convenient for safari trips. The surrounding views are stunning, at the foothills of the Indo-Bhutan border.
Dining

Dining was a highlight with awesome food. The North Indian style rotis were especially good and prepared with fresh ingredients.
Facilities

The facilities included a big play area for kids; however, it had some broken equipment that required supervision.
